Since Zendo is not running for re-election (apparently common knowledge at the County building, but not in his district) [8] some background on these other candidates would be helpful.

Most people know Tiffany (perhaps too well) by now and RJ Hampton also, but the others, who are they? Google turns up nothing.[?]

frannie lives in fern acres, long time resident there, very instrumental in animal welfare, nice lady, dont know much about her other politics but i will consider her. i am sooo over lifetime politicians..

I just met Tim Law today and learned he's running for the same County Council seat that Tiffany is. We had a brief talk re: some of his background and mana'o.....he seems like an excellent potential council rep! He lives in Pahoa, been on Big Isle since 1981, believes there's middle ground in the polarizing GMO, geothermal issues and seems to have a healthy, common sense take on the many issues facing Puna. I told him he needs to get his mug and name out there if he's serious about running for office.

Anyway, I'm so happy there's a viable choice for the upper Puna seat and someone who seems to have the potential to work with other Puna reps.
