What is your opinion about the $1.00 parking fee they have imposed beginning next Sunday?

You mean Maku'u? What is 1.00? I believe they are going to build a community center so I feel ok about it.

According to the Hawaii Tribune Herald article, the money raised will go directly into the community center fund. The proposed center will consist of a large gathering hall, 2 certified kitchens and classrooms.
I remember when Maku'u Market first started, and watching it develop into the thriving market it is now. I fully support the parking fee, and any other fees they feel is necessary to complete their vision of the community center that will benefit many.
