I've got a great used water pump with a 42 gallon pressure tank. I'm going to be installing a new pressure switch and air bladder. The pump is a half horse jet pump that is mounted on side of the horizontally positioned tank, so it has a low profile. Just wondering if anyone is in the market for such an item.
The price with all the new parts is only $200.00 OBO
If interested, just give me a call at: 982 8950
PS. I'll give it a 90 day guarantee also.

Hey Royal, what were you using the pump for?

Vince, my friend upgraded to a tankless system. Unit was working fine but the bladder was leaking down. Once I get the new bladder installed, it should go for many more years. I'm replacing the pressure switch as I know those do go out once in awhile.

Pump is a all together and ready for home new air bladder and pressure switch install. Going to be a good unit for anyone needing a replacement unit.
Call me if interested before I post it to Craig list...... Rather offer it to Punawebers first!

Off on a slight tangent, what's the average lifespan of a bladder system water pump?

Rich, I've replaced one that was almost 20 years and I replaced Pam Lamont's at about 3 years. Most of the time they last quite a long time. I think it may be based on attitude of the person that installed it at the factory in the first place. If they were having a bad day, they could have been too rough on putting the bladder in.

Just and update and to bring this forward one last time... New bladder and pressure switch installed and tested. Pump is working great and ready for a new home. Bladder went in easier than the last one so the price will be only $175 OBO.
