That's all I have to say. And another storm coming (someone already posted it) . [8D]

I heard it was supposed to rain all through the weekend so I did some yard work today, also fixed a bad wire on the water heater today.

Right now I think I'm going to be mowing my yard in the rain and at night. Every time I've set time aside to get the mower out it rains. Right now, given the forecast, the plan is Saturday morning. I don't think my employer has a "mowing leave" option but the grass is getting higher every day and all this rain just encourages it to grow faster...

My plan is today if it gets any blue sky at all or tomorrow morning before the storm hits.

i give up. my grass can grow until it stops raining!! A couple of years ago i got 'walking pneumonia' which i have no idea whether working in the rain contributes to, but its not good for you one way or the other!

WE are having a birthday party for our grandaughter, who just turned 4, on Saturday. On a good day, it's a maybe two hour job to mow, then weed eat a few areas. This week, it took me three times just to get the mowing done. Every time I'd go out to get it done, it would start raining, and I got soaked and went in. I still haven't finished the weed eating.

I got the front half done today.
It's the hardest and most complicated portion.
I also dug out 2 wheelbarrow loads of rocks from the lawn's perimeter and filled the holes with cinders enlarging the area where the lawn mower can be used.
Hopefully I can get onto the back half tomorrow.
I've been sitting here watching it grow for the last week and a half waiting for it to dry out a bit.

The ferns are noticeably encroaching again.
I also need to get the brush cutter out and start pushing them back again.

Weather forecasters can never get an accurate read on the weather in Hawaii. It was supposed to start raining hard by midnight last night. Rain before the hurricane and almost none now that the remnants are here. I lived on the east coast in Boston for a couple years and the meteorologists were spot on 99% of the time. Why so easy there and so hard here?
