To all in Hawaiian Acres.
Can any one update the situation on their road or when power and land lines will be restored ?
Condition of roads excreta.
The community center is locked shut.
No signage any where ?
Some roads still blocked by large downed tree's and power poles snapped along with wires everywhere.
Seems Hawaiian Acres is totally being ignored.
Please update here.Thanks in advance.

I'm at the far dirt end of Road 1. Power came back on at 11pm Sunday.
All of Road 1 is clear for driving--looks like there were 3 trees blocking it at one time.
Visited a friend on Pikake in FA yesterday; Road G/Anthurium is open, as is all of Pikake, but power was still out in much of FA.
Sorry, don't use Hawaiian Tel or cable, but a friend at 8 near B has power but no cable.

I'm on 3 near D. There's still a tree hanging on the power line a few hundred yards down the road and there is one big tree at my driveway that is going to fall and take the power line with it any day. We cleared the road to make it passable but haven't seen any officials out here to asses the damage yet. My generator has been keeping us civilized and I'm glad that I have satellite internet.

i'm on the corner of F&2. F is good. One is good. there is a tree hanging on the phone line out side on F but its not a danger. didn't have power to start with so i haven't missed it
satellite survived
still have phone service but it makes a loud buzz/hmm. Community center has electric but no internet. it should be open today.

The power is still out on 7 Road and there are still some trees on power lines.

very little being done in the acres our own associations are awol . the heavy rain have made the roads much more difficult . trees still on the roads residents doing the clearing .
the road corp lawyer was in court for the Aug 12 th court date. the next court date set for October , road corp needs to comply with some paperwork.
more money for the lawyer .

my power on one road came on monday morning but cable has been in and out. that afternoon and as late as yesterday afternoon talked to people in fern acres still out. i hear a generator very close to me going so alot without power. my son in law works for oceanic and a major cable is "pinched" and the only way to fix it is to sever it and put it back together, they are still deciding on that. even hilo office of oceanic was not working this week. the club house in HA is without power/cable and that is why it is closed. they are working, doing a terrific job. the problem is all the civil defense stuff never mentions mt. view and people seem to think they have been forgotten when they are really working on ha also.

I have 8 or 10 1/2 and 1 gallon plastic bottles filled with ice; anybody need it who can meet me around 1Rd and G?

Same here. I can bring water and ice (frozen two liter bottles-potable water). I'm near 8 and B and happy to help.
