Lots of talk about a new town and all that, but Pahoa is still here and all or at least part of it may be in the future. Hope for the best.

Roger that! Just found out that propane fills are available at Paul's. If that business remains unaffected at least we will have a gas station for fuel and ethanol free gas (for generators), propane filling station and small convenience store. All pretty important in my daily affairs. All this though with the assumption they can get their supplies in to stay in business and that they are not taken out too. They seem at a higher elevation though so it seems likely they will be unaffected.
