Just came down Maku'u. The county is putting "official" Double County yellow lines on the road! With "official" new reflectors too!! My-O-my!!!

Do you know how old this is getting? You have almost 3000 posts and nearly every one mentions either the County or private roads.

I think there should be a HPP, dedicated forum where you guys can go at each other!
Please, no more under Punatalk, I am tired of reading threads, where they are all derailed by HPP complaints.
Just a suggestion. Just like there is the Politics forum, there should be a HPP forum.

Might as well Lee, I think this HPP thing is out of control on every other single thread! It is out of control. HA comments are not as pervasive as the ones about HPP.

The whole "my subdivision can beat up your subdivision" thing is really counterproductive.

Every subdivision has a small contingent of NIMBYs who don't want any changes.

Every subdivision has "private road" problems which County created.

Every subdivision is zoned agricultural (the few exceptions merely prove the rule).

I think good striping makes a road much more safer and enjoyable to drive on. Kudos to the county for making this happen!
