I wonder if anyone on the DLNR saw his smug performance at the Tiffany roast and didn't think his actions and comments regarding what they did to DLNR land and trees were as funny as he seemed to think they were?

Pick one.
1. BA is a solid group who always intended to comply, they'll apologise profusely, pay the fine, and clean up their mess;
2. BA is just as sneaky and underhanded as some people claim, they'll occupy some other land, make more messes, and evade the fines.
Bonus question: which option will create additional opportunities for education and commerce along the Red Road?

Another choice to pick from (adding to kalakoa's list)
3. They claim they are nationals of the Hawaiian Kingdom, thus do not fall under the "illegally occupied State of Hawaii".

Sovereignty is a legitimate legal defense which deserves its day in court.

wow. such a contrast to:
..."Hawaiï's Volcano Circus
of Pahoa, HI, received
$25,018 to
establish a new EBT program at the
SPACE Market; increase purchases of locally grown produce by SNAP recipients; improve
customers diets; and increase local farmers' income from locally grown,
fresh produce sales."....

Maybe Uncle Robert's Ohana should do the market and get the 25K?
I'm glad the DLNR is willing to send a message that conservation land tree pillaging is not a great deal on lumber.

The USDA document is from 2011, so may not really have any relevance in this, and I am pretty sure that Graham Ellis is not trying for a sovereignty defense...

another wow (imo) here is an article published 3.25.14. seems these folks were lobbying for sustainable living. they presented well in this piece: site visits from local govt officials, initiation of SB 2274, HB 11 and County Resolution #302-12 in the recent past.
please consider reading their history.
