Ditto! @#$% the monkey Carol, and please reconsider.. or at least remove "ever" from your statement. I would much rather hope for a day in the future when you're inspired to post again. Mahalo

Truly sorry to find that one of the most rational, informed, intelligent voices on this site will go silent because of the actions of cretinous cowards. Sadly I can't say that I am entirely surprised as the tone of Punaweb has recently changed from one of informative discourse to one of petty vindictiveness fueled by little minds feeding fragile egos. I've also become much more of an observer here simply because I've grown tired of personal attacks being the response to any disagreement. While at times it is amusing to watch the children squabble it really does get old.

Carol I will miss your posts which I enjoyed. Most of your contributions were thoughtful, informed and well worded. Sad the monkeys somehow got the upper hand. I wish you well.

One of the reasons I go to Punaweb so often is the thoughtful post by Carol. I will truly regret not getting to know what Carol thinks about a topic on Punaweb.
@ Rob: I think she has a point when she said “the meanness to positive ratio has moved to an imbalance I cannot abide”. Negative posts do not help our Puna community at all. I would much rather read Carol's posts than someone's negative vile. Please clean it up.

Aloha Carol,
Your response to the anti-social media behavior is understandable and just one example of your own good sense.
