Gun shots, Beach Road, HPP

About ten minutes ago - east end of Beach Road. Police have been called.

About 30 mins ago,gun shots in Hawaiian Acres near 4 and D .
A Vietnam vet is drunk again.
Police not called.

Must be small caliber, cause if it wasn't you would hear it for miles......

Lee - it might have been someone shooting pigs, but it woke up the neighbourhood! Micro - I'm no expert, but the shots sounded to me that they were from quite a powerful weapon, but obviously I don't know for sure.

I know it's hearsay, but learned this evening that someone on Beach Road found around 30 relatively large calibre shell casings and handed them over to the police. All I can say is if this is true I'm not too sure what to make of it other than if it was someone shooting pigs they are not a competent shot or there were an awful lot of pigs.
