Rain at last!
#1
10:30 Friday night. Sudden massive deluge, very welcome. Hopefully it will revive dying palms.

Where are you, Hunt? It drizzled a bit earlier here (lower HPP). Must have amounted to about a millimetre at most. At least the coquis are still quiet, but a lot of vegetation is having a real hard time in my yard.

Hilo, about halfway between Ken's HOP and Richardson's beach. Well, it's stopped now. Hope it continues.

Hunt - you need to keep posting. When you sent your reply it started raining here! Unfortunately it was just a heavy drizzle which has now stopped, but we'll take anything right now Wink

Now it's raining good and proper here. The car is in the yard getting the dust washed off.

Last rain here in mid HPP was Jan. 23. Thankfully it started raining around 3 am, light, but steady and it hasn't stopped. Tank's full. Doing wash, dishes, might wash the car, not to mention the possibility of a real bath! (I'll risk losing my credentials for "the unwashed masses." of Puna) The plants are so thirsty. More please! Mahalo Ke Akua..

We got just over 2.5 inches over a 4-5 hour period - most welcome.
