OK, I'll admit I'm baiting you. Hesitate to call it "trolling" because I'm looking for positive responses. There was zero response to my last post about it so I thought I'd start a new topic. Yes, I know it should be in the Puna Events category but I felt it had a better chance of being noticed here.
The Puna Music Festival started last Sunday with a concert at Pohoiki. There is music happening all week with a final concert in Pahoa on Saturday.
I've been hearing about it on Native FM and it sounds wonderful! And most of it is FREE!
Surely this is something everyone can enjoy no matter if you're for or against the TMT, the Hawaiian Kingdom, the (insert neighborhood name here) association, the mayor, Ormat, government waste, or any other of the many subjects discussed here.
I'm jonesing for some feedback here! Stuck here on the mainland for who knows how much longer and REALLY wishing I was there.
Please (for me) get away from the keyboard for a while and go enjoy some live music and the great community in Puna. Despite the problems, I sometimes feel like some of you don't realize just how good you have it. YOU LIVE THERE! ALL THE TIME! How great is that?
With much Aloha,
Chas
