Happy Summer, Mr. Tom! Aloha to Pam! Well, let it be a good season for all of us. There is an abundance of mango, avocado, lychee, lilikoi is coming, and Suisan has great fresh fish deals! []
The keiki and mo'opuna are in summer programs, playing sports (football in this hale), going to the beach, eating Spam musubi until the cows come home, with a side of cheeseburger deluxe and fries...Shave ice in the heat of the day is pretty ono...(or "goodie goodie/guri guri"[:p])! Recipe: http://www.justapinch.com/recipes/desser...cream.html Enjoy the summer and have a lovely evening all. Safe travels (or welcome home) Mr. Tom, and aloha Pam, sending continued positive thoughts and prayers. Mahalo ke Akua.

Opihikao - I was looking forward to picking lots of lilikoi this week, but when I returned from Honolulu Friday I found that my horse had eaten most of it!

Stonehenge after summer solstice appreciation day. Looks like we need a Mauna Kea appreciation day.

When I wrote my original post, I actually thought about saying Merry Summer, but it just doesn't sound right, but am not sure why! The start of summer always means Independence Day is near; a day I tend to keep my head down, drink less tea, take the Union Jack down and try out my American accent: have a nice day, y'all.
