Looking for Live-In Baseyard Manager
#1
Aloha PW, there is a position open for a base yard manager in Mountain View area. Position is a live-in position, there is a small, cozy, 2 bedroom shack with a basic kitchen, bathhouse, greenhouse off the side of the house, has key amenities, i.e., running water, electricity, internet available, landline available.

Duties would include being 'gate keeper' to allow access at various points throughout the week, keeping inventory on what goes in and comes out, being on-site security, site maintenance and tool maintenance. There's not much to upkeep. Ladders, grounds, keep a low profile and watchful eye. It's a pretty peaceful existence.

Candidates should have excellent references. No addicts. No drama. Responsible, ethical, and absolute honesty a must.
TIDY. Orderly. This is a position that requires inventory and good communication.

Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and valid insurance a must.

Typical rent is $720/month. We will work trade $400/month to start and give added compensation if applicable. Definite potential for further work for the right person. Ideal person here is a handyman or handy-couple. We will deduct another $100/month if quality weed whacking and yard care is done monthly.

We are also looking for crew leaders and workers to train for yurt set ups. Non-disclosure/Non-compete contract required to sign for all positions.

Back in the day, I mean way back there, Ataraxia Farms (now that's way back there for those who understand the reference) let folks live in and work 20 hours a week on the farm and/or in the packing house. If they worked more they got the going rate for labor. I think Kalani had (has?) a similar rate.
