How's the little pond behind the Boat Ramp doing?
Anyone been there lately?

Issac Hale in general is packed during even weekdays now. Kahena used to be only packed on Sundays, busy on weekdays now. Kapoho road is really overgrown, looks like the county hasn't been down 137 in over a year.

They have been down the tamed part of Red Road and they even sprayed roundup to slow the growth so they don't have to come back so often.

To answer your question AKpilot: The little pond is the same as I remember it from decades ago. Small red shrimp nibble on your dead skin as you sit it a little, luke-warm sulfury lava rock pit. Hopefully not too much trash left behind from the kids on the night before. Best on really cold rainy days. I always use that shower by the ramp after being there too.
