Pahoa residents Josh Ballauer, Jeremiah Lofgreen and Matt Tavares document the 2014 Kilauea lava flow that threatened their Hawaii Island neighborhood of Kaohe Homesteads, and how their community came together during the crisis.

That was a wonderful documentary and really showed the spirit of people in Puna - especially right at the end. Thank you.

hotinhawaii - it's currently available online via

http://www.thepahoaflow.com/watchmovienow/

but you have to pay and also join Vimeo. I don't know if PBS will have it available in the future.

If I find it online I'll let you know. so far, nothing. Sometimes PBS itself will have documentaries online but not this one.

Very nicely done. First show I've watched hearing coquis in the background...(when the chirping was coming from the TV, that is!)
