We had a nice ceiling fan operated by a remote control, quite working. Tried a new battery, and no go. Then I ordered a new remote control, that should have worked with the fan, and still no go. Since then I took that fan out and installed a ceiling light, and put a new ceiling fan/light nearby in the kitchen, which works out better for us.
So, I have this remote that I bought from Amazon:

Not an expensive one. If anyone needs a new remote, they can have this one for free. We're in HPP.
