Hello members happy holidays. I have a quick question, does anyone know of a good company I can hire to Stake my land land in Paradise Park Keaau (I don't need it surveyed, just staked so that I am clear on the property boundaries).
Thank you[

If you need it staked you need it surveyed.
Surveying is the only way to actually know where your corners are, otherwise you are just getting a best guess based on finding pins that may have been moved or improperly placed in the past. The price difference is minimal compared to what it can cost if you find out the pin finders were off by 10 feet and your catchment is in the setback. Houses have even been built straddling property lines when people relied on pin finders.

Have it surveyed, staked and GPS marked for easier future location/verification. You will be dollars ahead in any permitted development or real estate transaction this way.

Daniel Berg & Associates did ours. Staked the boundaries every 200ft along the sides and back. Makrked with PVC on top of the stakes.

licensed sruveyors do K2 staking wothout buildings (improvements) is the legal marking of the 4 corners. Survey (k1) is needed to check set backs and encroachments if buildings are already on the property.

These are all good, Evan's good, Dan Bergs good, but they're all so busy and booked up, the real question is why wasnt this done at purchase, when a timeline couldve been adhered to.
Property with peeps building on the wrong place is too common in Puna- please do NOT buy land unless you know WhAT you're buying, where is begins and ends on planet earth! where the boundaries are. Sorry peeps, decades of real estate work , sick of peeps buying blind, building on someone else's property. Google independant surveyors, ..they're all good. nothing else works waste of time (GPS, pole/pin locations). If theres buildings you need a survey, if not you need a staking all from licensed surveyors.

I just had Independent Surveyors survey my lot in Fern Forest in September. They were quick, responsive and honored my request to also provide lat/long coordinates of all the pins so I could more easily use a GPS receiver to occupy the pins on my own. This also allowed me to provide coordinates and a survey map to a fencing company. It wasn't cheap but I think it is necessary if you are going to build a fence.
