TB test
#1
My daughter has a new job but before she can start she has to have a TB test. Her employer told that state is the only that does it. When she call the state they told her that the person who does this is on vacation till the 10th Jan. Does any one know if you can get it by a private doctor are some one else. Thanks

Both my kids had to have TB tests before entering the school system here (though they are home schooled now).
One was done in Waikaloa but the youngest was done at the clinic in Pahoa.

All the urgent care and doctor clinics do them because they are a requirement to attend public schools etc. My daughter is a CNA and has had to get it done at least a half dozen times in less than 5 years and went to regular doctors or clinics each time. They charge a reasonable flat rate for it. It does require two visits, one to get poked and another to have the poked site looked at and get your "TB Free" paperwork.

I've never heard of any state clinic doing the test.

I had my last test at UH-Hilo, while a student, not sure if you have to be a student:

The county also has this website with a bunch of locations:
