Weeds, Weeds, Weeds
#1
That's plural as in the type that take over your lawn. I use Weed & Feed, but lawn still overtaken w/ this pink flower vine. I can't find it listed online & don't know the name. It's pervasive. I'm taking a sample to Garden Exchange to see if they have any ideas. Anyone w/ same problem?

Yeah, I have it too. It's an annoying weed, but at least it seems easier to pull out compared to some other weeds. But it seems to quickly climb and smother other things if left unchecked.

Hey at least it will crowd out the sleeping grass.

Got Trimec from Farmer's Cooperative. Broadleaf weed killer that supposedly won't touch "Southern Grasses". We'll see what happens, it's powerful stuff. .75 oz to 1000 sq. ft.

if its the flower ShaveIce posted, its a bad one, its invasive.... Arthrostemma ciliatum is one of the 'Green Cancer' 'Purple Plague' family of plants in the Melastoma Family... same family w/ Melastoma, Tibouchina, Miconia, Heterotis rotundifolia, Heterocentron subtriplinervium, Koster's Curse, etc. etc.

the best stuff to kill it is called RoundUp/Glyphosate... aloha

save our indigenous and endemic Hawaiian Plants... learn about them, grow them, and plant them on your property, ....instead of all that invasive non-native garbage I see in most yards... aloha
