Argus
In addition soak the in the ground portion in used crank case oil for a week or two. Or use creosote which can be purchased at H.P.M. in Hilo. Or Zophar at Ace Hardware in Hilo . Two types of Zophar . Metal grade which takes a week to dry or water safe which takes several hours to dry . Mrs.Mimosa

Argus is the only one I know of on the east side that carries CA-C treated wood (you can also purchase jugs of oil-based copper treatment to paint on (recommended for all wood cuts & bore holes...pretty sure Ace & HD have the jugs)
Their treated weblink: http://www.argusbuildingsupply.com/treated-lumber/

Argus' CA-C treated wood is not like treated wood I used to get on the eAst Coast. The treatment does not extend further than about 1/8" into the surface of the wood (further on the ends). I have had some I used for deck framing start to rot significantly after about 4 years. And this wood was not in contact with the ground.

Oh, also Dels has had the round pointy-tipped green treated posts, not sure if they still do... & not sure if Mirandas would carry them...but probably worth a call (have no idea what the green treatment on those round posts was...)

Was at Dels yesterday, they have lumber piled up all over their parking lot but it's all sold waiting for pickup. Their next lumber delivery won't be for months.
