I bought some seed peppercorn and none of them sprouted. Looking for living plant.

With an $800 minimum you are probably better off buying seed from 10 different sources and trying from the beginning.

I'd place a cl ad looking for cuttings.

Or wait for their twice-annual "retail event".

Also check with "that citrus/avocado vendor at Makuu" aka pokifruits.com.

I have seen them at Garden Exchange. I haven't been by there recently. I don't even remember where I got mine.

Ten years ago, I bought a pot of black pepper plant (supposedly) from Fruit Lover's nursery. The vine grew and grew but never produce any flowers. I finally dug it all up and got rid of it two years ago.

However, I still have another one, about five years old climbing under an old mango tree. It was a cutting from the mother plant. Forgot all about it until now. If you want to try them, I can give you some cuttings as many as you want.
