Maui Grown Therapies, one of eight dispensary licensees, will begin at 11 a.m. the first legal sales of cannabis in the islands.

I can hardly wait to hear about pricing.

Do you expect it'll be another ripoff by the man, rather than excellent, righteous dude prices?

Four people are in a room and seven leave. How many have to enter again before it's empty?

Wonder if they will start a delivery service? Hot and fresh in 30 minutes.

Your neighborhood "righteous dude" will have better quality and prices.
Buy really local, LOL.
Expect a ****storm from "Green Harvest" to support this State sponsored rip off.[Big Grin]

The dispensary on Oahu that just opened, sold out in days. Anyone know when the Hilo one is supposed to open?
By coincidence this turns out to be my 420th post. [Big Grin]

Too bad the state wants to tax it so heavily. If they didn't, it would cause the street price to really drop, maybe forcing some of the drug dealers to drop out of the business.

Local prices are under $7/gram, so more like 300%.

Too bad the state wants to tax it so heavily.

The taxes are way cheaper than the grid power used for production -- the "must grow indoors" requirement isn't technically a "tax" but is something State could fix.
