Benefit Concert for the Pohoiki Shooter 9/8/2017
#1
Hey y'all! If you want to benefit the family of the Pohoiki Shooter, you know - the guy who whipped out his pistol and fired it in the middle of our beach park? Yeah, that guy. If you want to help him or his family out, come down to the Lava Shack this Friday.

Personally, I'm going to pass on this charitable request.

I think I'll "bail" as well.

I'd go just to take pics on my phone for future reference of the people who are supporting him as "birds of a feather..."

benefit... the Pohoiki Shooter,

Add this to the list of dubious Go Fund Me requests. If it's successful and catches on with others in the alternative income and fringe park visitor community, who knows where it may lead?

Perhaps events can be held by car thieves and b&e advocates in advance of their crime spree, promising that if they raise enough money at the benefit, they won't rob us blind. "Please sign our guest book at the door, if we don't reach 100% of our goal, we'll promise that at least your property won't be robbed."

"Like a bad neighbor, us thieves are there, down the road. And not at your house."

The Donner Party really wasn't that great of a party, was it?

Which guy is this about anyway? The good guy or the bad guy?

The good guy or the bad guy?

Judgement is narrow-minded.

I think they're going to do the finale to the 1812 overture* but with "nines" instead of the canon.

I'm wondering if this was supposed to for the one that was shot, not the shooter.

Maybe our former Mayor Billy Kenoi should be there for support of the Pohoiki shooter, Puna style. He has always been good at raising money and seems to run with this type of crowd at times. If my memory serves me correctly he supported one of the Maui golf course shooters in this type of benefit several years back.

Should we maybe just boycott the Lava Shack in general from now on for accepting to be the venue for this loathsome event?
