That's the best view of the Milky Way I've seen all summer, not to mention everything else up there. The Donner Party really wasn't that great of a party, was it?

This just popped into my inbox and seems appropriate for this thread. Yes, it's the Daily Wail but suggest just looking at the pictures. It's about the Insight astronomy photographer of the year competition and shows some amazing pictures of our universe. The first picture (not the winner) is stunning enough - a "huge" moon behind some of the observatories on Mauna Kea.
