why we can't evict the squatters

The "bank-owned and bank won't cooperate" issue is often raised here, but apparently even if you have real owners who actually want the eviction, they can't hire Big Island deputies due to "policy review". Nobody knows how long the review will take, and the policy itself is a closely guarded secret.

In the meantime, there's always flying deputies over from Maui.

What are my taxes paying for, again?

Do they hire expensive consultants to do studies and reviews just so they don't have to work for extended periods? Sure seems like it.

If there is a shooting or violence between a deadbeat tenant and a property owner trying to reclaim his or her rightful asset, let us hope we do not hear any lectures from Law Enforcement that people should work through the system.....

Tmakiung wonders what is holding up Big Island deputies from performing evictions, when needed, on their home island.

Too many cuz who are also squatters?
