Ya know, 57 millions could have built a really nice costco in Hilo!

I can hardly wait until the bypass into Kona is built, making the Costco even closer.

Fun fact: a new Costco usually opens for business within about 110 days of the land being acquired. The "aggressive" timeline is actually a corporate goal. I wonder how long it took them to build the Kona location?

I'm thinking a good majority of traffic going over that pass is due to costco ... I usually try to get to a beach park when I go.

I thought of it more as a joke than anything.

what you equate kona with?

I equate Kona with Los Angeles: only go if you really have to.

I only go for the airport, and then only if the difference is hundreds of dollars.
Looking forward to trying out the new bit of road. Great progress.

We only go to Kona for fun, or for a Kaiser Permanente appointment with my urologist who lives on Oahu, but does one day a month in Kona. Now, since we are there anyway, we may make a Costco trip too, And, I almost always hit Kiser Motorcycles and maybe the Harley dealer. Have to make a run over in December to that doctor, I'm going to try and stop in at an electric bike shop there and look too.

Oh, heck. Let's name all roads in Hawaii County after a politician.

In this case, it's more than justified.
