Topless in HI?
#1
I saw a video on Youtube that says women legally can go topless in HI. Have I been out of the loop all these years?

It's called Kehena beach.

A friend of mine drowned there when he jumped into the water to help someone else.

It's true, there is no law on the books that makes it illegal, but social stigma keeps it in check.
Blame it on the early missionaries and their threat of eternal damnation from the boogie man... invisible man in the sky.

I see plenty of topless here. Men mostly. For females, see Europe.

I don't know what the specific laws are here, but if men are allowed to go topless in public, why shouldn't women be able to do so as well?

Most of the women I have discussed this with say the unwanted male attention outweighs the freedom of going topless...

I saw a topless grandma (possibly great grandmother) driving a riding lawnmower in Hawaiian Acres. She smiled and waived. I didn't notice her getting any unwanted male attention.

I'm there often and it seems like well more than half the women who do go topless there, seem to welcome the attention.
