Not wasting my time on the presentation; going to wait for the Council agenda item and raise issues against it there.

If County really thinks another park is such a great idea, they can seize the road thereto and make it public. Otherwise, we have a privately-owned substandard road (without striping or reflectors) just begging for a massive liability lawsuit.

Consider: alcohol will be consumed at this park, whether or not "allowed" by County...

Liquor is a part of every park on the island. Nothing new here.

...and how do the residents of HPP feel about having that public liquor consumption installed "near their house"?

"Some photos from the 1st of two meetings at the HPP Activity Center regarding community input for the new 20-acre County Park that will be located on Kaloli between 25th and 26th. About 40 people showed up; most from HPP although a few from other Puna subdivisions. Three park design senarios were vetted through breakout sessions with one scenario receiving the most support although with some changes. To provide further input, the public can email or call Jared Change of SSFM the consultants before Jan. 21st. His phone is (808) 356-1242 and email: jchang@ssfm.com. The next meeting to comment on the preliminary master plan is scheduled for Feb. 19th (Monday, President's Day Holiday) from 3:00-6:00pm same location."

What about money to actually build the park? Vetted scenario?
