Need some Barge Cement.
Can't get Amazon to ship it, probably because of flammability.
Can't find it at Wally's world, Target, Sears, Ace, ...
Anyone know of an on island source for it?

Never asked Him but maybe the shoe guy in hilo ?
forgot but I think you can order it through ACE.
To anyone reading this, Barge is night and day better than *ANY* contact cement you have ever used or ever imagined.
If I may ask, what RU going for 1v ??

Yeah, online Ace says it can be ordered for pickup at the Pahoa store in 1 to 7 days.
I don't believe that mainland time frame applies here.
It doesn't appear to be available at any Ace on the island.
So, It probably will be coming from the mainland.
I have a high-end pair of Asolo boots with glued soles that I use as general around the yard work boots as well as for hiking.
I've been harvesting the rocks growing up out of the lawn, getting lazy and kicking some of them loose instead of using the O'o.
The heel of the sole on one of the boots is beginning to come loose.
I want to re-glue it before it gets worse.
EDIT:
I have considered a local shoe repair.
They would have large quantities for their use.
I don't want to make 2 trips to town to get them fixed and back.
All I need is a 2 to 4 oz tube to do it myself.
If I can find some.

I’ve been using c.a. (“Super”) glue for years. I’m kind of surprised it works, but it does.

I have used ShoeGoo before on cheaper shoes/boots.
I consider it to be a temporary fix just to get by until the footwear can be replaced.
I would never use it on an expensive pair of boots, unless I intended to replace them soon.
As I did with my old Asolos these newer boots replaced.
But, the problem has been solved.
I found an eBay seller that will ship to HI.
The order has been placed and accepted.
I do not like dealing with eBay vendors, normally.
Sometimes they are the only option, as in this case.

I shoegoo’ed my asolos - it didn’t last that long. They lasted upwards of 5 years before they started breaking up. I ended up just getting a new pair, and will try to be a little kinder in hopes for 10 years of usage.

I began wearing Asolos for my 3rd pair of leather ski boots.
They are the most comfortable boot I've ever worn.
Then, I began wearing their packing/hiking boot.
I can wear a brand new unworn pair on an extended trip and they'll never bother me.
The last they use for my foot size is perfect for my foot.
I have never had that with any other boot.
Others have always required a break in.
My last pair held up for almost 15 years of heavy use.
The sole lugs were worn off and the sole was delaminating under the ball of the foot.
I ShoeGooped them while my new pair was on order.
Then, I threw them away.
