This may fizzle.
No matter, at least I'll get to put mine up.
A couple of posts in another thread, in another PW forum motivated me to see what people around here like.
Go ahead and place links to your favorite Hawai'ian music/song videos, from YouTube, or where ever.
There are more, but these two are probably at the top of my list.
My list does tend to morph fairly often as I hear new to me pieces.

Was a Democrat until gun control became a knee jerk, then a Republican until the crazies took over, back to being a nonpartisan again.
This time, I can no longer participate in the primary.

Definitely one of my favorites; Keola Beamer's "The Beauty of Mauna Kea":

Thanks guys.
I enjoyed both offerings.
I'm now using my galfriend's PC because mine has apparently died.
It has been acting up lately, and went T.U. today.
I'm wondering if the sulphur gasses might have had something to do with it.
I'm getting ready to place an order for the components to put a new one together.
Got the mobo, CPU, and RAM all figured out.
Just need to figure out the graphics card I want to put into it.
Then, I can place the order.
I'm finding it hard to choose which one will do the job I want done, and not cost a fortune.
So, my presence will be minimal until I get the new one up and running.

Good luck with the computer!
A song I always play when I'm about to go and visit Pam again:

And another from Sister Robi which I used to play to energize myself on the way to the beach:

While "Hawai'i Aloha" from the Playing for Change project is in a class all its own, Jake Shimabukuro just strolling with his ukulele always brings a smile:

The documentary about Jake,
Life on Four Strings, is amazing as well, much like everything he is involved with such as the more recent HI Sessions jams

I got my PC up and running again, somewhat.
I feel like a teen again, having to park my car on a hill to push it to get it started.
I did get the components for the new one ordered.
Amazon says they should be here about the 28th.
Enjoyed all of those.
Tom,
Blue Bayou brings back old memories.
I remember it being done by Ronstadt, but I'll swear that someone did a popular version back in the late 40'S, early 50's or so, but can't remember who.
Right now I'm in hide out mode, avoiding all contact with people.
Yeah I know, I'm here.
But this isn't really in contact with anyone.
I'm just talking to a wall.
My depressed state will probably begin dissipating after M'Lady gets home.
I think you've said that you live near Kaloli Point.
If so, we could be in the house right next to you.
Maybe I'll take you up on your offer for a get together.
Ironyak'
Jake is a master of the instrument.
I've never seen a fantastic rock solo done on a ukulele before.
VI,
A very nicely done version of Ola'a Beauty.
ml,
It's got me thinking of taking up an instrument again.

That would be Mr. Roy Orbison...
