Hawaii Food Production Survey
#1
The State of Hawaii wants to double food production.
If you're a grower, they'd like you to take this 5 minute survey so they can better determine how that goal might be accomplished.

By reading the small print jargon following this post, user agrees they have passed a recent exam on the Snellen Eye Chart, including but not limited to line 5. E D F C Z

I clicked on the link.. then started to try to find out a little more, as "A brief summary of the study results will be posted to this website in late Summer 2018. Survey participants may also choose to have a copy of the results sent by email." & it is very close to "late summer 2018" at this point...
Found out his survey is only till August, so if you have anyone that wants to join the survey, they should do so in the next few days...

& the "about" part of their website its "not-in-use" but can still be found @ http://hawaiifarmersurvey.com/about/:
ABOUT-NOT IN USE

But it would help if they had this info from June 15, 2018, UH west oahu from https://westoahu.hawaii.edu/ekamakanihou/?p=8659
"A survey of Hawai`i farmers conducted by University of Hawai`i researchers is now underway to better understand the barriers and needs of growers when it comes to increasing food production in the state.

The Hawaii Farmer Needs Assessment is being conducted by UH West O`ahu Assistant Professor of Sustainable Community Food Systems Albie Miles in collaboration with Hunter Heaivilin, a PhD student in the Department of Geography and Environment at the University of Hawai`i at Manoa.

The survey is designed to help identify the key structural obstacles to farmers doubling food production in Hawaii which is a goal set by the governor and other agencies. Increasing local food production is one of the key goals of Gov. David Ige’s Sustainable Hawai`i Initiative and the Hawai`i Green Growth Aloha + Challenge, a public-private partnership involving state government agencies and large Hawai`i corporations and organizations.

The survey will help define the kinds of support, extension, training, research and public policy that may best meet the needs of the state’s growers. The online survey takes about 5 minutes to complete and will be open from June to August, with results posted to the hawaiifarmerysurvey.com site in late 2018.

Farmers, 18 years and older, may participate in the survey by visiting hawaiifarmersurvey.com, or going directly to the survey here."

Thanks Carey,
My desktop is temporarily (I hope) down, so I’m cutting and pasting from an iPad at the moment. Keeping it simple, as occasionally when I go back and forth between pages too many times, my unsent post will occasionally disappear.
