Send Amazon tires to Sears?
#1
Anybody bought tires on Amazon for installation at Sears? From what I seen the foot traffic at the Windward Mall and Pearlridge Sears is 10 times Hilo.

Just to see how much it cost, I added 2 tires to my cart. The tires were about $50 each, for a brand I've never heard of, shipped to Sears, plus $20 each to have them installed. And this doesn't include any "upsell" extras Sears is going to demand before they put the tires on your car.

$20 each installed is what Curlees charges in HPP and I thought that amount was ridiculous. Bob's in Orchidland was $10.

So assuming $100 installation for 4 tires... a Costco membership is $65 per year. I believe costco installation is $15 per tire and that includes their warranty.

So it's cheaper to drive to Costco spending the gas, buying the membership if you don't have one, and getting tires there, and loading up on your normal weekly/monthly purchases, even if you never go to Costco again before the next time you need tires.
