Looking for car repair advice
#1
My Ford van is getting a lot of miles on it. I want to do a major service...tune up, flush and change engine and trans fluids, belts. Stuff like that.

Not sure I want to go to the Ford dealership in Hilo..

Any suggestions in the Pahoa area?

Mahalo in advance.

Ford will charge you double guaranteed...and it will take 3 weeks or longer for an appointment. Wally's Auto in HPP is where I go for everything auto related. Good people, reasonable prices and great mechanics. (Shop is closed until Wednesday...they're on vacation)

I second macuu222 on Wally's. He's a very honest guy who will even tell you someone else to consult if they can do better with your problem than he can.

Wally's. Honest and fair.
The clean condition his shop is kept should tell you something about the quality of the work they do.

check out Mike's auto, he was working out of his home here in Leilani, now has a shop next to Pahoa Auto Parts, across from Long's. Honest, Fair. And I'm from California - I don't say that about Any mechanic
