Just opened last week on Kalanianaole across from ice pond (Harringtons) in Hilo (just east of HWY 11 & 19 - Kens)
Very generous portions (Jim could only finish 1 1/2 portions... if you know Jim's appetite, they provide fairly LARGE portions) good prices.
They have window seats looking out across the road to ice ponds, we had a great server.
The food was a little on the mild side, but nicely seasoned with plently of fresh veggies and herbs.
All around a good time.

Didn't they used to be on Kilauea near the Pacific Music store?

Yep...They have been working on this site (next door to Millies Snack Shop) for a while, just moved in last week.

Actually they've been out there for several months. When I last spoke to the guy behind the counter, he said the food was cooked at the Kilauea St. restaurant and then brought to the Ice Pond site rather than cooked there.

When we were there, the waiter said they had been cooking there about a week. It seemed that the food was cooked onsite, as some of our orders were cooked & seasoned to order...???
