Has anyone been to an event there lately? There's a band I want to go see there tonite. What's with the parking situation? I've heard some things about people breaking into cars. True?

Maybe if you aren't parking in the paid parking lot, little cousins of the parking attendants are robbing you down the road.

If you chose to park in the lot it's 3$ for some people/areas, 5$ for others.

I wonder if you could chat up a licenced security guard and offer to pay them under the table to watch your car on their time off. They wouldn't be in uniform of course. But watching on your behalf none the less. Hawaii guard cards are usuable separate from any company. Because it's registered to the individual not the company they work for.

I park in the lot and pay $5 even if they only ask for $3. That way, I don't have to worry about my car, so I can enjoy the market.

$5 parking is cheap. I remember when it used to be $5 at the airport.....
