The smell could attract pigs, so maybe not advisable to use on small plants and trees that could easily be damaged by rooting. Definitely good material though.

We had some mac nut husk-based compost delivered many years ago and the LFA loved it. They like compost in general but this was ridiculous. I don't think the compost showed up that way, the compost attracted them from nearby and they flourished in it. I think it was before Siesta was available and Amdro and Extinguish didn't cut it around the compost. Post-Siesta we were able to get rid of them from that area. I can't say for sure there was anything special about the mac-nut based product that boosted the LFA, just that we haven't had a similar result with anything else. No scientific comparisons apply.

I had an entire tractor trailer load delivered about 3 years ago. it covered half an acre 3 inches deep. Great stuff. I can tell people the hone contact info if you want. Laura Williams-May on facebook.
