Bio Astin?

Has anybody taken this supplement? If so, did it work or all hype?

I've never taken it but based on your question read the amazon reviews. Mostly positive but the negatives ones include some not-mild side effects. Example:

"DO NOT TAKE IF MALE (Side Effects)...I waited a few days and tried taking another pill/gel and again I noticed the improvement in my eyes and cardio, but also the same nipple discomfort that became really unbearable. Fortunately I did my research and came to find out that astaxanthin can cause gynecomastia in men."

Which led me down the rabbit hole: "Gynecomastia is an enlargement or swelling of breast tissue in males. It is most commonly caused by male estrogen levels that are too high or are out of balance with testosterone levels."

I’ve been taking it for 20 years, daily with good results. (ie: I’m still walking despite raging Arthritis.)
Never got engorged, but it might be a plus.

Sorry Snorkle but that is some misinformation.

While Mydxadryl may contain some astaxanthin, it is a compound of natural products that can definitely improve sexual function. Herbs like: tongkat ali, Maca root, horny goat weed, wild yam and others.

Bioastin or astaxanthin is isolated from bluegreen algae. It doesn't contain those other herbs listed above.

Bluegreen algae that is developed right here on the big island on the kona side has a myriad of nutritional benefits and vitamins and is definitely healthy. That may be the reason you experienced bull-moosedom.
