Yesterday Mr. K's paid me $0.50/# for a junk battery dumped in front of our house and buried in the dirt. I took it to Atlas first and they said they stopped taking them because it was too much hassle.

Ks is confusing. I went to take some old computer stuff and the first guy I met said “ Take it’s back hea.” So I went to “back hea” and the guy there said I need to talk to the guy in front.....After some back and forth and figuring out where to park, they finally took it.

The coinstars I've used don't charge anything if you take a certificate instead of cash. I get HD certs. Tip: Take a picture of the receipt on your phone so you aren't screwed if you lose it. The cashier can enter the numbers manually. You can do the same thing when buying online.
