Procrastinators rejoice! The Real ID implementation has been postponed 1 year due to the plague.

Yes, thanks terrracore, I'll be glad to put it off another year. By then maybe the County of Hawaii will allow us to update/renew online like Honolulu.

For almost all of us in Hawaii - - it's procrastinators times two. Many of us wouldn't have to update our drivers license if the state procrastinators had updated their system when they were supposed to. I had to bring in all of the forms and paperwork for a Real I.D. drivers license, and the only difference I can tell between their requirements and the license I received, was that the final license didn't have a star on it.

I renewed a month or two before they started printing stars, probably because the state had a star shortage?

Same thing happened to me, I went through all the Real ID requirements but they didn't put their brown star on it. If they push it off again until 2022 I will have renewed my license anyway. Until then I could use my passport.
