And now we are getting shipments of medical supplies from China. Is the administration putting a 25% tariff on that?

Were also getting medical supplies from Russia. Im sure we will also be putting more sanctions on them as well.

Thus, there is no evidence here that China was voluntarily holding back PPE exports to the United States during this period: The 19 percent decline in China’s PPE sales to the United States was actually smaller than the 28 percent fall in its exports to the United States of all other products.
Compared with the EU, a bigger decline in Chinese exports to the United States was expected, given President Donald Trump’s new tariffs on billions of dollars of Chinese medical supplies in 2019. It was not until March 10 and 17 that Trump finally agreed to lift tariffs from many of these products."

My brother sent me an email with a video attached.
The message was:
Be Careful where you get your mask!

It has been pre - tested!
It shows a group of people [men] making masks, guys running sewing machines putting the masks together with strings of sewn masks piling up on the dirty floor, boys sitting around on that dirty floor getting piles of materials ready to be sewn and separating piles of the sewn masks, and so on.
It is obvious that it is not even close to being a sanitary operation.
I no longer have any way to share a photo or video online anymore.

A story about thin, ineffective, recycled masks in Asia ran on Hawaii Public Radio a few weeks ago. One buyer described the masks she purchased as one layer tissue paper thin. Hopefully they haven’t made it to the US marketplace, or Amazon.
