PUNA RANGERS MEETING THURSDAY
#1
PUNAWEB bloggers:
Please attend tomorrow night's Puna Rangers planning meeting. If you have
an interest in the Puna coast line and would like to help with the formation of
a stewardship program to ensure it is a safe and quality place to recreate, this is the meeting for you.
Aloha,
Tiffany Edwards Hunt
legislative assistant to Puna Councilwoman Emily Naeole

Tiffany,

Persuant to our phone conversation, this is to confirm that on
Thursday, June 19th at 5:30 pm, there'l l be a meeting of the Puna
Rangers committee and, for all those interested in being involved, the
meeting will be at the Pahoa Community Center.

All should be reminded that we now HAVE a 501©(3) umbrella
organization sponsoring us, which will enable us to apply for funding
for all our needs.

Also, it's time to make definite commitments to those interested,
and to let everyone know what they're getting in to. Pinpointing the
actual jobs and dangers will let everyone know where we stand.

This will be a meeting to make decisions, and follow through with them.

Thanks for helping to "get the word out" about the meeting.

Many thanks,
Pat Rocco

This is a special invitation to all persons wanting to become a part of
the Puna Ranger Committee and to those community association leaders and
members who are interested in supporting the Puna Ranger Vision.  There
will be a General Membership meeting  tomorrow and we are encouraging all
those interested to attend and bring a friend.
Those that attended previously are enthusiastically asked to come
again...We so need everyone's support...The meeting is tomorrow June 19,
2008 @ the Pahoa Community Center at 5:30pm. Please come with your ideas,
and insights that we all may share in our endeavor to improve our
community.  Mahalo.
Aloha,

The Puna Ranger Committee

You can find my brief Hon. Adv. Blog somewhere listed at the above link..

Blogging is easy to do.

It's defining the audience that is of importance.

I just moved back to Puna after about 9 - 10 years away.

It takes movers and shakers to make things happen.

Tiff... we share some things in common [Wink]

What are Puna Rangers? Is that like Power Rangers?

LOL... nope, not Power Rangers...They are still defining themselves, but something like a cross between a neighborhood watch person and the mainland's game warden type...
