rooting ohia cuttings?

Can you get a new tree from rooting ohia cuttings?

Some of the ohia appear to be resistant to RHOD.

Anybody tried this?

Seeds are slow.

Good question. Iʻve never tried propagating from cuttings but Iʻve had ohia keiki spring up in my yard that Iʻve transplanted with limited success, losing about 50% in the process. They always seem to sprout in rock walls or in the middle of a path.
