New covid booster
#1
Has anyone taken the new covid booster for 2024? My doctor suggested both wife and I take it since we're over 65 and we travel a lot. Was wandering if there was any side effects worth mentioning.  Hopefully nothing like the double dose flu vaccine for seniors that made me sick for days.....

I got mine. No side effects at all.

I'll get mine as soon as I know it's the updated booster, and I'll also get the 'flu booster. The only side effect I've had in the past is a sore arm for a day or two, which I'll take over a hospital/ICU stay.

I got my Flu and updated Covid (Moderna) shots today -- same arm, one bandage.  So far, just some arm pain when I raise it. This is similar to last year.

We got the updated Moderna and flu vaccines on Wednesday as we will also be travelling in the next couple months.  We decided against the high dose flu shot for 65+, and got the regular dose.  Late that evening I had a slight headache, but much less bothersome as I have experienced previously.  I was slightly sluggish the day after.  My husband had no effects other than some arm pain.
