CASH CROP OR PERSONAL USE
Interesting subject, I keep seeing marijuana users advocating the use of pot for personal consumption and want the police out of their way. I believe that if a person wants to grow pot and smoke it he/she should have that right on their own property.
Now here is where it gets a little sticky for me. I have already admitted that I don’t care if you are a smoker of your personally grown pot. You know ,[bong up Dude] if that’s what makes you happy. Now you want the police out of your pot somking activities, Ok I have even gone along with that, after all it’s your right to do what you want with your brain. I will most certainly advocate the medical use of marijuana if used as a controlled substance. Here is the part that I don’t like about pot, every one that I have meet that grows pot also sell it for profit. Yes they may only have ten or twelve full grown plants growing at a time, nothing to retire off but plenty extra money. Of corse we have the people that do nothing but grow pot so they don’t have to work for a living just burn in and turn it. I also know plenty of these people here in the Puna area and believe me they drive better and newer vehicles than I do and haven’t had a job in years.
If you legalize the pot you take the profit out of it and I’m all for that, maybe just maybe it will make lots of lazy people go back to work. Not being able to grow a few thousand bucks in your back yard like a money tree will sure change a lot of peoples mind about keeping the police out of it.
Legalize it for personal use but make it mandatory jail time for selling it to children under the age of twenty one.
Now watch me get blasted from all sides, by just adverting to the word marijuana all the cracks in the wall open up all on there own.
