iMovie help
#1
Anyone in the Pahoa area that could help tutor me on iMovie?

I seem to be able to handle most, but not all, of it. Need some hand holding on some subjects.

Thanks,

Rob

Rob, what exactly are you trying to do with iMovie? I am a Mac Person and know basics to most Mac apps.

Rob, if and when the time comes that you get bored with iMovie let me know. I can let you download my copy of 'Final Cut Express', but I must warn you. The learning curve is a little more intense with FCE.

I am tryng to get my girls up to speed on making some home movies comprised of clips and stills.

What surprises me is that iMovie lacks a movie tutorial. The training is all written and that makes it much less intuitive than most Mac experiences.

We are gradually making progress though and may just muddle through.

I appreciate your offer but don;t think we will be making anything professional.....just family films to send to grandmom.

Rob - is your computer less than a year old? If so call Apple and they will walk you through it. Mention that there isn't a tutorial.

Rob, see if this helps get your girls up to speed. By the way, do they know how to make their own "quicktime" clips to send over the internet to grandma?

See if any of this helps you?

As for Final Cut Express, Rob. At one point believe it or not the girls, and possibly you will want more than what iMovie offers. When that day comes, please don't hesitate to take me up on my offer. I also have "Photoshop 7", if you and the girls need that app.?
