Can you operate a hammer? Read a tape measure and operate a saw safely? How are you with a paint brush? List your skills sisters and you may get your wish!

Aloha Michaela, You mention Kohala, you must realize it is over 100 miles by bus or car- about 3 hours, from Puna. If you have your heart set on Kohala, you might have better luck on the Konaweb.

I'll put my other foot in my mouth here. What PJ was saying is if you list your skills, and areas of expertise, you will receive a more specific response.
What are your job, work experiences, what are you trained to do. How do you support yourself now. Hope this helps some. Aloha Mella L

Michaela, If you want a response about summer jobs, it would help if people know what you are willing to do for work and what some of your experiences and skills are. If you list that or write a note about it here hopefully someone will have a job that would fit with your capabilities. Good luck to you both! I think what you are doing sounds like a summer job with a little adventure attached and isn't something I even considered when I was a young woman. Go for it, I think it sounds like fun and a challenging experience!!

Aloha Mella and PJ.Thank you. You both are very beaux. You know, we dream of Hawaii from last summer. We worked in Alaska (last summer) and it was really good experience and the best summer for us. We worked as a housekeepers in a hotel and this year we want the same job or something similar. I study psychology and my boyfriend evanjelic theology, but we are´t USA citizens, so we can find job only in hotels or restaurants. But we apriciate these jobs too
But in Hawaii (especially) is very difficult to find job. I´m sending e-mails to many hotels and restaurants(about 250
e-mails)from November to today and I dont have practically any answers. And there is one more problem: we need job agreement to the end of March, because it is necessary when we seek for visa. But you have good idea. I try it
Thanx.
