Another Kenoi deception -
#1
Billy Kenoi claims to be more qualified than Angel Pilago because, he, Billy Kenoi, is the only Mayoral candidate who has served in all three branches of government – executive, legislative, and judicial.

So, Billy has that on his resume`?

I suppose Billy Kenoi figures it like this on Legislative experience:

Billy Kenoi was an intern to U.S. Senator Daniel Inouye.
Angel Pilago was two years ago returned with an overwhelming majority to a second-term in the Hawaii County Council.
Does he really think (and want voters to think) that being a student intern is equivalent to being a second-term legtislator and Vice Chair of the County Council? :[

Maybe this is the Billy Kenoi perspective on Judicial experience?

Billy Kenoi was a trial lawyer.
Angel Pilago has successfully litigated as a private citizen.
Assuming LAWYER Kenoi recognizes private citizens' rights in the courtroom.

It is on the executive experience where Billy Kenoi must be mis-reckoning his “advantage.”
Billy Kenoi was an appointed Executive Assistant to Hawaii County Mayor Harry Kim.

What about Angel Pilago's experience in an executive branch of government?
Angel Pilago was a decorated combatant for the U.S. Department of Defense.

What is the message here?
Billy Kenoi has no respect for Angel Pilago’s military service and is willing to commit “resume` fraud” to tout his cushy internship as something that is even more important.

Other veterans and families of veterans, take note: Billy Kenoi just does not get it when it comes to military service – that service is not the kind of cushy “connections” he depends on.

I do not understand why because one serves in the US military it "better" qualifies one for community service. Is that what you mean by this statement?

Thanks, Susan.
Mr Kenoi explicitly stated he was the ONLY candidate with experience working in all three branches.
This means that Mr Kenoi is saying that Mr Pilago does not have experience in all three branches -- judicial, legislative, and executive. Right? That is yet another deception by Mr Kenoi.
Mr Kenoi says being a student intern means working in a legislative branch and being a trial lawyer means working in a judicial branch and being an executive assistant means working working in an executive branch. In none of these was Mr Kenoi the person with accountability and first responsibility.
Mr Pilago, under oath of service to his nation, served with exceptional distinction in executive branch of government: the Department of Defense.
Mr Pilago, as a litigant, succeeded in judicial victory.
Mr Pilago, is a twice-elected legislative representative.

Why does Mr Kenoi tell these lies?
