#1
Besides blasting moss off lava rocks w/ a pressure washer, does anyone have any good tricks to getting moss off lava rocks?

Just curious why anybody would want to... as its beautiful and low maintenance and takes a long time to establish....
Maybe somebody will buy it from you and pick it off for ya

Mainly because it wasn't there to begin with and I'm cleaning up the yard and it seems that many of the weeds are growing from this moss.

Clorine bleach 1gal water(hot) 5gal and TSP, small box. It'll kill it all, use gloves and don't drink!

I use a weed whacker.

Goes through whips fast but works well.

My wife Jayne does it by hand. Yes she has a lot of time on her hands.

Yep Scott... that's what I've been doing [^]

I have found it's much easier later in the afternoon as the Moss Dries out.

I've also begun using a flat head shovel on some of the smoother rocks where the moss is more easily peeled off in bigger chunks.

Thanks for the kokua...

And if you know anyone that wants to come over and get free moss... it's yours for the picking [Big Grin][B)]
