Cockney, I am very sorry you are not able to post an add on this forum without some people jumping on your case. I personally know you two are caring, compatent people with an excellent background and references in this field. Child care is a needed business in our area and you would be more then welcome. Some people feel they have to jump in on any and all topics just to post, others did have valid questions that didnt get a chance to be addressed. Again Sorry

Since I am originally from England, I know the type of competent childcare you would be offering, and how lucky children would be to have this experience! Parents would not have to worry, if they left their child in your care.

Just wanted to add that so far no one was questioning the quality of the childcare.

But if you are leaving your child in someone's house,you need to be sure
about the people who live there.
It looks like cockney have good references.Again,no one was questioning that.

But at the time of the offer they advertised 2 rooms for rent in the same house.

You can not blame parents for being concerned.
Accusing people for being concerned about the situation is just wrong.

Later on cockneys added that they will have just one roommate.

Again,assuming that the woman is OK.But she is entitled to have visitors.
I am just saying that unless you know people,a house with even one roommate is not something a responsible parent will consider.

About getting to know part.I remember,Pam welcomed cockneys and offered to come to a Scubasunday to get to know people.

Cockneys couldn't make it that time.But there will be more.

You are honest people (you were open about having rooms for rent though you could have just posted on Craigslist ).

So now it will be a good idea to get to know people.
Folks here are very friendly and they will post a lot good things about you if you are nice people.

Rusty,I just summarized what the other people said (see the link).
You seem to enjoy when there is a problem .For you it's like a show to watch ("More popcorn"- that is your frequent comment.)
You don't care. That's fine.But that is your business.
